Dr. Melissa Aversa

Dr. Melissa Aversa grew up in Orlando, Florida until she relocated to South Florida to attend Nova Southeastern University. She studied athletic training and received her Bachelors of Science in 2009. A year later Dr. Aversa became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and two years later she graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2011. Her career began in outpatient orthopaedics.  Dr. Aversa worked with post-operative, sports medicine, and general musculoskeletal patients for 14 years. She quickly became an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist early into her career. Dr. Aversa is celebrating 12 years of marriage to her husband Vinny, and together they have two athletic boys ages nine and seven.
